The scale lies on Tuesdays. Here's what to watch instead.
"Bodyweight fluctuates daily by 1–2 kg due to water, sodium, and digestion. Learn why the 7-day rolling average and measurements are your real truth."

Bodyweight is an inherently noisy signal. Fluid levels fluctuate by 1 to 2 kilograms based on sodium intake, sleep duration, cortisol, digestion, and even carbohydrate storage.

If you step on the scale every morning and react emotionally to a single daily spike, you will inevitably quit long before a real fat loss trend has time to show up.

Weigh yourself under identical conditions each morning, but look strictly at your 7-day rolling average. Combine that average with a weekly waist measurement and notes on how your clothes fit.

Those three signals evaluated together are almost never wrong. When the daily scale fluctuates up on a Tuesday, your weekly average will keep you grounded.
