Free Tool #02

Two numbers, honest reading.

BMI on its own is a rough screening tool. Pair it with waist-to-height ratio (below 0.5 is the target) and you get a much better picture of body composition than either alone.

Measure your waist at the level of your belly button, standing relaxed. Waist-to-height ratio (waist ÷ height) below 0.5 is the widely-cited healthy target for adults.

You're in a healthy range on both measures. Weight management or muscle-building is usually the next step, not another diet.

FAQ

Questions about this tool.

  • BMI is a screening number, not a diagnosis. It's poor at telling muscle from fat. That's why we pair it with waist-to-height, which is a much better predictor of metabolic risk.
